Honeywell FSL100 Ultraviolet (UV) Flame Detector

Honeywell's FSL100 series flame detectors enables simple coverage of fire hazard areas across many different applications and is the newest optoelectronic flame detector for a wide range of light industrial flame detections. The FSL100 is small and lightweight for an easy installation but is built tough to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. With its large field of view it can detect a wide range of different types of fire such hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon sources. This flame detector has inbuilt automatic tests and test lamps to cover all models ensuring reliability.

Available in three models:

  • - Ultraviolet (UV)
  • - Ultraviolet / Infared (UV/IR)
  • - Triple Infrared (IR3)

Features:

  • - Detects a wide range of Hydrocarbon and Non-Hydrocarbon fires
  • - Wide Viewing Angle : Optical detection of radiant energy in a solid angle Field of View enables coverage of a large risk area. Simple optional mounting bracket allows the FSL100 to be installed and aligned covering the hazard.
  • - Fast Response: Reponds to flaming fires in seconds enabling a more rapid response to danger before the fire can escalate
  • - Analysis of flame flicker-frequency for improved false alarm rejection
  • - Dual sensing methodology enables a wide range of hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires to be effectively detected
  • - Good resistance against the influcences of : Direct and Reflected Sunlight, Artificial light such as fluorescent tubes and glass covered halogen lamps, Arcs and electrical discharges, Radiation from electric welding ( if welding takes place at a distance more than 10ft away from the flame detector)
